Anente the supplicatione givine in to the estates of parliament be Euphame Turnor, relict of umqhile Captane Thomas Fisher, sheweing that hir husband wes killed in the service of the good cause and hes left behind him the supplicant with tuo bairnes in great debt, and therfore humblie desyreing the saids estates to sie hir payit of the monethlie pay dew to hir husband befor his death, and farder ather to grant ane soume of money to helpe to pay hir husband's debtes or elis ane yeirlie dewty for support of hir and hir bairnes, as the supplicatione beiris. Quhilke supplicatione being reported and red in audience of parliament, and the samene, with the desyre therof foirsaid, tane in consideratioun be the estates of parliament, the saides estates be thir presentes gives warrand and command to Williame Thomsone, ther commissarie deput, to pay presentlie to the said Euphame Turnor, supplicant, the soume of threttie punds sterling out of the reddiest moneyes in his hands perteaneing to the publict in pairt of payment to the supplicant of the arreires dew to hir said husband, and ordeines the rest of the arreires to be satisfied eftir compt out of the first of the moneys that comes from Ingland.
