Quhilke is the day appoynted be the laste act of the last parliament haldine be his matie and the thrie estates in anno 1641 to be the day of meitting and conveining of the estates of parliament in the first trienniall parliament thereftir.

Prima dies parliamenti

Parliamentum tertium, excellentissimi principis Caroli dei gratia Scotia, Anglia, Franciae et Hiberniae Regis fideique defensoris, haldin at Edinburghe be the estates of this kingdome, viz: the noblemen, the commissioneres for the barrones and the commissioneres for the burrous conveined this day in parliament be vertewe of the foirsaid last act of the last parliament haldine be his matie and the thrie estates in anno 1641, togidder with the officeres of parliament, viz: the laird of Brigtoun present for the erle of Erroll, constable, the Erle Mershell present himselffe as marshell, the proveist of Edinburghe present, Mr Williame Wallace, shereffe depute of Edinburghe, present and Johne Mylne, dempster, present.
