Unto your sacred majestie and the honorable hous of parliament Lodovick, erle of Crawfoorde hwmblie dedyreth ane heiring whairby I may vindicat myselff of ony aspersioun unjustlie layed upoun me and so be liberat as ane loyall and good subject and not sequestrat and keept up as I have bene these dayes past. And your sacred majesties and lordships answer.
