[Committee for the payment of the disbanded regiments appointed; advocates to meet regarding matters outstanding in the treaty of London]

Petitioune be Generall Major Monro, for himselfe and his regiment, craving ane approbatione of his service and payment of his regiment befoir they disband, red in audience of his majestie and parliament, who appointis the Erle of Argyle and Lord Lindsay for the nobilitie, the Lairdis of Athernie and Harden for the gentrie, the commissioners of Dundie and Aberdein for the borrowis to meitt and think upon the best way to lift money for payment of the said regiment and other regimentis to be disbandit.

Appointis the kingis advocat and remanent advocattis of estaite to meitt in the kingis advocats hous at two hours efternoone, to draw up ane commissione for doing what restis unperfyted in the treatie.

[Answer to remonstrance from the English commissioners for disbanding regiments and demolishing fortifications delayed; supplication regarding officers' pay continued]

Remonstrance from the Inglish commissioners, desyring that the regiments presentlie on foote may be disbandit and fortificatiounes slighted conforme to the treatie, red in parliament, togidder with the report from the committe for the armie, and the full answer thairof continewed till the noblemen, barones and borrowis think upon the readiest way to uplift money.

Supplicatioune be the Lord Jonestone, craving pay for his officiars continewed till the said meitting for lifting money.

[Commission for hearing the commissary-general's accounts; continuation]

The generall commissar urged the reiding of the commissione for his accomptis, that the same may be dispatched. And the barones desyred that the same might be continewed till the nixt meitting.

Continewis the parliament till the morne at ten hours, and appoints the committe for accomodatione and severall bodies to meitt presentlie, and the committe at two hours efternoone, and the severall bodies at four hours efternoone, and the committe the morns at sevin hours, and the severall bodies at eight hours.
