His majestie declairit that he, haifing nominate the Lord Balmerinoch to be president, he is willing also that he be continewed unto the end of this parliament notwithstanding that thair be ane chancellar now elected, bot with this declaratioune and provisioune: that efter this parliament the same be not derogatorie or prejudiciall to the chancellar in any actioune, place or possession competent to him, ather in presiding, calling of rollis, stating of queatiounes, asking of voytes or any otherwayis quhatsomever.
