Approbatioune of the Lord Amont, his service and cariage in the place of lieutenant generall of the armie, red and most unanimouslie voitted and graunted, with consent of the generall reported in parliament.
Patent of the office of chancellarie to the Lord Lowdoune relative to the kingis nominatione and his electioune, with approbatioune of the parliament, red in audience of his majestie and estaittis of parliament, who appointis ane committe to be maid for drawing up the act of parliament and the said patent for the said electione and nominatione. And for that effect nominattis the Erles of Lauderdaill and Southesk for the nobilitie, the Lairds of Inner and Cars for the barones, the commissioners of Hadingtone and Kinghorne for the borrowis, with power to call Sir Thomas Nicolsone and remanent procurators of estaite, whome appointis to meitt at two efternoone.

Act for the nominatione and electione of the Lord Lowdoune to be chancellar be his majestie, with advyse and approbatione of the estaittis of parliament, red, voitted and past in parliament as it is drawin up, conforme to the warrand graunted yesternight.
Conforme to the which act, his majestie subscryved ane gift of the said place in face of parliament, which was sent to be writtin to the great seale efter it was read in parliament.
Supplicatione be the Erle of Galloway against the towne of Wigtone, complaining of wrongis done to him, and als another supplicatione at the instance of William McGuffok against the shirref and baillie of Wigtone, complaining also of wrongis, being both exhibited to his majestie and estaittis of parliament, they appoint lettrez to be direct at ather of the supplicantis instance for summonding witnesis upon the said complaintis, and als at the instance of the defenders for preving of any answer quhilk they can make to the supplicationes, but prejudice of ather pairties reasones or dispute against the relevancie; and assignis the [...] day of [...] for that effect.
Supplicatione be the Erle of Home, craving reparatione for his losis at Dunglas, red in audience of his majestie and estaittis of parliament, who appointis ane dowble thairof, togidder with the commissione graunted be the committe of estaittis and report thairof, to be gevin to everie estaite and another to the Erle of Lauderdaill for the Lady Home.
Anent the complaintis be the towne of Wigtoune against the Erle of Galloway whairin thair is defensis, replyis etc. produced and witnesis examined, the estaittis of parliament agries to meitt upon Tuesday efternoone for heiring of that proces and allowis procurators to both pairties in this caus for persute and defence.
The Laird of Mairtone promeist to produce unto the clerk some missive lettres quhilks he will use against the Erle of Galloway.
