Supplicatioune be the Lord Lowdoune, craving exoneratioune of his commissione for negociatioune of the treatie and ane approbatioune of his service, red in audience of his majestie and parliament, who (after that his majestie and diveris of all estaittis had gevin publik testimonie of his cair, diligence, fidelitie and wisedome in managing this greate bussines) grantis the desyre of the supplicatioune, and conforme thairto most unanimouslie graunted the exoneratioune thairin mentioned, which, with ane ample recommendatioune of his service, ordaines to be drawin up and inlarged under forme of act of parliament. The Erle of Dumfermelin repeitted the desyre of the supplicatioune. The Lord Lindsay and Durie, tutouris to the Erle of Rothes, repeitted the lyke desyre for exoneratioune and approbatioune of the late Erle of Rothes his cariage and service. Appointis the clerk to draw up ane act of exoneratioune and approbatioune of all the thrie noblemen thair cariage and service against the morne.
It being proponed and questioned whidder the approbatioune of his majesties nominatioune of the Lord Lowdoune to be thesaurer shall be voitted this night or not, and it was resolved negative upon the questione.
