The quhilk day the kingis majestie, eftir voyceing and concluding of the foirsaid last act anent the appoynting of the tyme of the meeting of the nixt parliament, did exhibite ane patent granted be his majestie to Archbald, erle of Argyle for creatioune of him marques of Argyle, erle of Kintyre and lord Lorne, whilke patent wes publictlie red in audience of his majestie and haill estates. And thereftir his majestie delyvered the samene patent, haveing his hienes great seall therto appendit, to the said Marques of Argyle, who resaved the same in all humilitie from his majestie.
