In presence of the kingis majestie and estates of parliament compeered personallie Johne, lord Maitland and protestit that the ratificatione granted in this present parliament off the contract betuixt the aires of umquhile James, lait erle of Home, and James, now erle of Home, doe not prejudge the said Johne, lord Maitland and his lady of ther actioun of reductione intentit or to be intentit for reduceing of the said contract; and therwpoun askit instrumentes.
