In presence of the kingis majestie and estates of parliament compeerit personallie Johne Oisburne, commissioner for the burghe of Air, and in name of the proveist, baillies, counsell and commontie of the said burghe, protestit that the ratificatione granted in this present parliament in favoures of the burghe of Irving of thair rightes, infeftmentes and otheres contenit in ther ratificatione should be allwayes but prejudice to the said burghe of Air, proveist, baillies, counsell and commontie thairof anent ther rightes, infeftmentes, liberties and priviledges of ther said burghe; and thairwpoun askit instrumentes.
