Falloues the protestationes mad in this parliament:
Johne, erle of Sutherland, personallie present in presents of the kingis majestie and estates of parliament conveened in parliament, protestit that his ryding, sitting or voyceing in this present parliament doe nowayes prejudge him of that place and preseance dewe to him conforme to his birthrightes and infeftmentes, bot that it shall be lauchfull to him, according to his birthrightes and infeftmentes, to cleame place and preseance heereftir in parliament and all other publict and privat meetingis; and therwpoun the said Johne, erle of Sutherland askit instrumentes.
