Our soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estates of parliament, hes ratified and approvine and, be thir presentes, ratifies and approves the erectioun of the kirke of Creichtoun and confirmes the fundatione therof, and declaires that the colledge kirke of Creichtoun shall be the paroche kirke, and hes converted and, be thir presentes, convertes and appropriates all and sindrie teyndis, fruites, rentes, emolumentes and other dewties whatsomevir dew to the vicares or prebendares thairof to the said kirke of Creichtoune and to the ministeres now serveing the cuire and that shall happine to serve the cuire at the said kirke in all tymecomeing, with the rentes and emolumentes that perteened to the ministeres or viccares of old, or to the ministeres now serveing the cuire at the said kirke, and wherof the saides ministeres, viccares and prebendares or any of them have bene in possessione at any time; and decernes and ordeanes that this present ratificatione and act of converting and appropriating in maner foirsaid is and shall be ane good, valied and sufficient right to them and ther successoures for brooking and joysing the samene perpetuallie in all tymecomeing, provyding that the erectione and conversione be not prejudiciall to the right honorabll Sir Patrik Murrey of Elibanke, knycht, and his rycht he hes of these landis quhilkes are holdine be him of the proveist of the said kirke, and of the takes of the teyndis belonging to him within the said parochine, bot that he shall bruike these in tymecomeing as he does presentlie.
