Our soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estates of this present parliament, ratifies, approves and perpetuallie confirmes the chartour and infeftment granted be his majestie wnder the great seale to Johne, erle of Kinghorne, his aires maill and assigneyes, off all and haill the landis within the territorie of Glames, quhilkis perteint of old to the abbotes and convent of Aberbrothoke lyand within the lordshipe and regalitie of Obirbrothoke and shereffdome of Forfarr; all and haill the landis of Mundurno, Over and Nether, with thair pendicles and pertinentes, with the mylne of the samene, mylnelandis, multors, sequelles of the said mylne, lyand within the barrony of Fyvie, regalitie and lordshipe foirsaid of Aberbrothoke and the shereffdome of Abirdene; as also of all and sindrie the teyndshaves and personage teyndis of all and haill the paroche kirke and parochine of Glames, and of all and sindrie the landis, heritadges, roumes, possessiones and stedingis lyand within the said parochine of Glames, dyocie of Saintandrois and shereffdome of Forfare foirsaid, off the dait at Edinburghe, the fyfte day of August jM vjC thertie fyve yeeres. And sicklyke our said soverane lord and estates of parliament ratifies, approves and perpetuallie confirmes ane wther chartor and infeftment granted be his majestie wnder the great seale to the said Johne, erle of Kinghorne, his aires maill and assigneyes foirsaidis, off ane aiker of land callit Pyker Aiker, lyand within the barrony of Ballhelvies, parochine therof and shereffdome of Abirdene foirsaid, with advocatione, donatione and right of patronage of the personage and viccarage of the paroche kirke and parochine of Ballhelvies with all and sindrie landis, teyndshaves and otheres teyndis, fruites, rentes, emolumentes, proffites and dewties perteyneing therto lyand within the said shereffdome of Abirdene, off the dait at Edinburghe, the tuelffe day of Julij jM vjC therttie four yeeres. As also our said soverane lord and estates foirsaidis ratifies and approves the chartor and infeftment made and granted be his majestie to the said Johne, erle of Kinghorne and his foirsaidis off the right of patronage of the kirke of Rescobie, personage and viccarage therof, togidder with all infeftmentes granted to umquhill Sir Thomas Lyone of Auldbar, knycht, and Johne Lyone of Auldbare, his sone, or ather of them, of the foirsaid right of patronage of the paroche kirke of Rescobie, personage and viccarage therof, fra whom the said Erle of Kinghorne acquyred the right of the samene, togidder also wit the band of ratificatione of the samene made be Maister Alexander Gledstones, archdeane of St Androis, with consent of the beshope, deane and chapter therof, ratifieing and approveing the foirsaidis infeftmentes with the right of patronage of the said kirke of Rescobie, conteyneing also ane procuratorie for resigneing and surrendring of the foirsaid right of patronage in the handis of his majesties umquhill father of blissed memorie, in favoures of the said Erle of Kinghorne and his abowewrittin, with the infeftment falloweing thairwpoun, in the haill heedis, articles, clauss and conditiones of the samene and everie ane of them. Lykeas his majestie and estates of parliament willes, declaires and ordeanes that this present ratificatione shall be alse effectuall as if the saidis infeftmentes and rightes wer herin insert de verbo in verbum, quhairanent his majestie, with consent foirsaid, dispenses. Attoure, his majestie, with advyse and consent foirsaid, ordeanes and declaires that the foirsaidis infeftmentes and otheres rightes and tytles abovementionat heerby ratified, with this present ratificatione therof, are and shall be sufficient and valied rightes and titles to the said Johne, erle of Kinghorne and his foirsaidis for bruikeing and possessing of the foirsaidis landis, teyndis, patronages and otheres abovespecified thairinconteyned, without ony questione or contradictione to be made to them theranent, conforme to the tennoures of the foirsaids chartors, infeftmentes and otheres rightes and tytles abovementionat granted to them therof, and heerby ratified as said is intymecomeing.
