Our soverane lord and estates of parliament ratifies and approves and perpetuallie confirmes the decreet givine and pronunced be the commissioneres of parliament appoynted for plantatione of kirkis wpoun the tuentie fourt day of Januar jM vjC and eighteene yeeres, anent the uniting of the kirke of Moy to the kirke of Dyike, both lyand within the diocie of Murrey, and anent the modifieing of ane stipend to the minister serveing the cuire at Dyike, wherwnto Moy is unit, of the quantitie conteyned in the said decreet in that heed, article and clause of the foirsaid decreet, quhairby the saidis commissioneres of parliament, with consent of Alexander, beshope of Murray for the tyme, hes fund, declaired and decerned the right of presentatione of the minister to the said kirke of Dyike, wherwnto the kirke of Moy is unit as said is, to perteene and belong to umquhill Alexander, erle of Dumfermling, lord Fyvie and Wrquhart, chancellour of Scotland, patrone of the said kirke of Moy, and to his aires and successoures in the samene right of patronage, notwithstanding of the unioune foirsaid of the said kirke of Moy to the said kirke of Dyike in all tyme thaireftir, as the said decreet in that heed and article therof beerand the productione of the said umquhill Erle of Dumfermeling, his infeftmente and right of patronage of the foirsaid kirke of Moy, of the dait abovewrittin, mair fullie proportes; togidder with the samene infeftment, and right of patronage granted to the said umquhill Alexander, erle of Dumfermling, of the patronage of the said kirke of Moy formerlie produced be him in the decreet abovementionat, with all other infeftmentes, dispositiones, takis, rightes and tytles quhatsomevir granted to the said umquhill Alexander, erle of Dumfermeling, or to Charles, now erle of Dumfermeling, of the advocatioune, donatioune and right of patronage of the saidis kirkis of Moy and Dyike and teyndis therof in the haill heedis, articles, clauss, conditiones and circumstances of the samene. Lykeas our soverane lord and estates of parliament foirsaidis willis and declaires that this present ratificatione is and shall be alse valied and sufficient as if the foirsaidis infeftmentes, dispositions and otheres abovespecified heerby ratified were insert ad longum et verbatim heerintill, quhairanent, our soverane lord and estates of parliament dispenses for evir; and alse ordeanes and declaires that the foirsaidis infeftmentes, dispositiones and otheres rightes and tytles of the patronage abovewrittin, heerby ratified with this present ratificatione therof, shall be sufficient and valied rightes to the said Charles, now erle of Dumfermeling and his aires and successores for bruiking and possessing of the foirsaid patronage and otheres therinconteyned, conforme to the tennour of the samene in all poynts.
