Commissione anente the book of rates

The quhilk day the kingis majestie and estates of parliament, considering that his majestie consented to the act for dischairgeing the custome of tuo and ane halfe of the hundreth, and the impost of four pundis one the tune wpoun this conditione: that warrand be granted to the exchekkere to establishe the booke of rates, according as the pryces of merchandyce now reules; lykeas his majestie, haveing permitted the optione to the burrowes either to continue in the payment of the foirsaid custome dischairged or to be reuled by the booke of raittes to be set doune be the excheker, according as the pryces of merchandyce now reules, the saidis burrowes mad choose to be reuled be the booke of raittes and consented to the foirsaid commissione. Therfor his majestie and estates of parliament hes givine and granted, and be the tennour heirof gives and grantes, full power and commissione to the lordis and wtheres of his heighnes exchekkere of this kingdome to establish the book of raittes anent the payment of his majesties customes, and for regulating therof according as the pryces of merchandyce now reules, and ordeanes the saidis lordis and wthers of his hienes exchekkere to regulate and set doune the saidis customes according as the pryces of merchandyce now reules as said is, quhairanent his majestie and estates of parliament declaires thir presentes to be ane sufficient warrand.
