The quhilk day the kingis majestie, with advyse and approbatione of the estates of parliament, nominat and elected Johne, lord Loudoune, chancellour, Archibald, erle of Argyle, Williame, erle of Glencairne, Johne, lord Lindsay, and Sir James Carmichall, deputie thesaurere, or any three of them, for dischairgeing the office of thesaurarie principall to the nixt parliament, conforme to the commissione to be drawine up for that effect.
