His majestie produceit ane lettir writtin to him be the Vicount Chichester anente some commotione in Ireland, which was publictlie red in audience of his majestie and parliament, and his majestie appoynted that some may be appoynted to thinke wpoun the bussines so farr as may concerne the good of his majestie and kingdome. Quhairwpoun the estates of parliament nominates and appointes the lord chancellour, the lord generall, the Erle of Louthane, the Lord Almont, the Lairdis of Weddirburne, Kinhilte and Murchill, the commissioneres of Edinburghe, Glasgowe and Air, to thinke wpon any course necessar to be done anent the bussines contenit in the said lettir and what is incombent to be done be this kingdome thairwpoun, and ordeanes theme to meit this eftirnoone in the generalles ludgeing for thinking heirwpoun, and to report againe to the parliament.
