The quhilk day the supplicatione presented to the parliament for Generall Ruthvene, craveing liberty to returne to his house and duelling of the Yair, being red in audience of the kingis majestie and parliament and the desyre therof considered be them, his majestie and estates of parliament grantes libertie to the said Generall Ruthven to returne to his house and dwelling of the Yair, and to repair and resort within the parochine where the said duelling house lyes ay and whill his majestie and estates of parliament signifie there further pleasoure thairanent.

The quhilk day his majestie represented to the estates of parliament that he had absteend to give permissione to the Erle of Nithisdaill to repair to his owne house within the kingdome wpoun misinformatioune that he was foirfaulted, bot sieing he is not foirfaulted, his majestie desyred the advyce of the parliament therin, who thought that his majestie might permit the said erle to repaire to his owne duellingis within this kingdome.

The kingis majestie and estates adjornes and continoues the parliament to Tuysday nixt at ten houres beforenoone and straitlie commandis all the memberes of parliament then to be present, and ordeanes the severall bodyes to meit this efternoone at thrie houres that they may goe to there severall committies.
