The quhilke day the kingis majestie and estates of parliament gives warrand and commissione to the erles of Seaforth and Southeske, the lordis Elphingstoune and Burghlie for the nobilitie; the lairdis of Frieland, Ballmayne, Cesnocke and Moncreeffe for the barrones; and the commissioneris of Abirdeene, Dumbartane, Irving and Bamffe for the burrowes, for the examinatione of the witness conteaned in the diligence produced be the toune of Wigton againes the Erle of Galloway, and of his witness againes the toune of Wigtoune, and to report to the parliament.
