The whilke day the supplicatione givine in be Williame Scot, shereffe deput of Selkirke, craveing libertie to hold ane court for deducing ane service befor the shereffe of Selkirke and his deputis, being red in audience of the estats of parliament and the desyre therof considered be them, the estates grantes dispensatione to the shireffe of Selkirke and his deputis for holding of courtis to the effect abovespecifiit.
