The estates of parliament agries and ordeanes that no nobleman, commissioner for the barrones and burrowes be absent from the sessione of parliament without live askit and givine from the president and whole house wnder the paines falloueing, viz: tuentie pund for ilke nobleman, tuentie merks for ilke barrone and ten merkis for ilke commissionar of a burghe, and this for ilke dayes absence; and appontes the halfe therof for ilke sessiones absence when ther is tuo sessiones in the day toties quoties, but where ther is onlie one sessione in the day to pay the haill penaltie for one dayes absence; and ordeanes ane perfyt roll to be mad of the whole persones who should compeir in parliament that the absentis may be wnlawit conforme to the actis of parliament and order givine for wplifting and exacting therof.
