Procedure: opening of the session

Parliamentum continuatum dicti excellentissimi principis Caroli Dei gratia Scotia, Anglia, Franciae et Hiberniae regis fideique defensoris, haldine at Edinburgh, the thretteene day of Apryle 1641 yeires foirsaid be the estates of parliament, viz: the noble men, the commissioneris for the barones and the commissioneris for the burrowes wnderwrittin, unacum officiariis parliamenti viz: the Lord Gordoune for the constable, the Maister of Forbes for the mershall, and Johne Whyt, dempster, present.
