The estatis of parliament, presentlie conveened by his majesties speciall authoritie this fourteenth day of Januarii 1641 yeires, to the which day the parliament was continowed by the last act of continowatione thereof daited the nynteene of November 1640 yeires, did unanimously elect and choose Robert, lord Burghlie to be president of this ther meeting of estates in parliament.
