The provest and bailies of Edinburgh promeist to give in thair ressones against the article for changing the sessioune the morne.

Act ordaining the shirrefis and ingadderers of taxatione to be lyable only to produce horning, appointis the shirref, stewart, baillie, ingadderers of taxationes and thair deputtis and clerks to attend in the tolbuith at the heidburgh betuix nyne hours and four hours efternoone the ordinar court dayis for the space of ane moneth efter the terme of payment of the taxatione. And quha shall not pay his taxatione within the said space, his lands shall be poyndit for the taxatione, and for thrie shillingis of ilk lib. by and attour the taxatione, quhilk shall be dew to shirrefis, stewartis, baillies etc. for their attendance, paines and expenses in ingaddering the taxatione.

Act ordaining the commissioners of shyris to draw lottis and valentines yeirlie at ilk parliament for their places red, voited and past in articles.

Act anent the discharge of the register of comprysingis, Maistir William Hay declared that gif his father wer heir present and informed of the prejudice redounding to the liegeis by this register and witnes to that ressentiment of the grievance and burthen apprehendit by the estatis throw this register, he is confident that his father wold willinglie discharge the register and assent to the article. The articles ordaines Maistir Jhone Skene to keip ane register of such comprysingis as requyre the approbatione of the sessione and finds no necessitie that the same be registrate in the clerk register, his register; bot for all comprysingis of reversiones and legallie quhilk ar not approvin by the lords of sessione, ordaines the same to be registeret in the clerk of registers register, not ad longum bot compendiouslie by way of minut or abbreviate containing the name of the compryser, the heids of the writtis comprysed, the debt quhairupon it is deduced and the date of the comprysing and denunciatione, the messinger and clerk, the benefits quhairof shall be dew to the clerk of register or his deputtis. And for the pryce of the said registeratione, appointis the committe for the buik of raittis to determine the same.

Act against leisingmakers betuix the king and his subjectis and judgis committing iniquitie, ordanes the acts formerlie maid against leising makers betuix the king and his subjectis to be revived under such paine as the estatis shall think expedient.

Act discharging particular commissiones of justiciarie and lieutenendrie red in articles, who ordaned the abuses of these commissiones to be represented to his majestie in all humilitie by the lordis commissioneris grace, and that his majestie may be supplicate to graunt the lyke commissiones only upon necessar and weightie causes and to indure only during the tyme of necessitie. Thairefter the act delyvered to the Laird of Keir to be advysed and reformed.
