The act ordaining all horningis, apprysingis, inhibitiones etc. to be now execute at the mercate croce of Nather Ancrum against all persones duelling in Ancrum, Lillislie and Eskirk within the regalitie of Glasgow, red, voited and past in articles.

Memorand to shew the same to the lord commissioneris.

The mercattis upon Jedburgh, quhilk was appointed formerlie upon Mooneday, to be upon Tuesday, and for Drumfreis upon Wednesday, and Patrik Bell producit the particular note of the merchandice quhilks ar dischargit to be sold upon Mooneday in the said towne. And Jhone Smith promeist to produce the note for Edinburgh and dischargis all unfriemen thair wark in generall upon Mooneday in Edinburgh and appointis the mercatt thairof upon the Wednesday. And dischargis the mercat day of Mooneday in Brechin and appointis the same to be upon Wednesday.

Anent the supplicatioune presented by the towne of Montrose for provisioune of thair kirk, the lordis commissioneris general and lords of articles thinkes it expedient that the said supplicatioune be recommendit from thame to the lords commissioneris general to be represented by him to his majestie, and that no other record be maid heirof in parliament.

Anent the supplicatioune presented by the minister of Dennye for disjoyning the same from the church of Falkirk and erecting the same into ane severall parochin, the lord commissioneris general and articles referris the same to the commissione to be appointed for plantatione of kirkis.

Anent the article gevin in against protectiones, the lord commissioneris general and articles appointis the two actis of parliament 1587 and 1633 to be renewed and ratified with this additioune: that the certificatioune of the act 1633, quhilk is only against the lords of sessione, be now renewed against the lords of secret counsale. And to the effect his majestie may be acquented heirwith and humblie intreated heirefter to graunt no protectiones, the lord commissioneris general is intreated by the lords of the articles to represent the same to his majestie with the haill ressones moving the estatis to renew the actis abonewrittin, bot that the renewing of the actis be only recoirdit in parliament and the supplicatioune to be represented to his majestie by the commissioneris be not recoirdit in the bookis of parliament.

Act against papistis and excommunicat persones red, voitted and past in parliament.

Act anent the ratificatioune of the decreit gevin by the commissioners of parliament for erectioune of the paroche kirk of Anveth and dismembring the same from the kirks of Kirkmabrek and Kirkdaill, referred to the commissioune to be graunted for plantatione of kirkis and augmentatione of stipends.

Anent the supplicatione gevin in by the director of the chancellarie, craving to be declared ane officiar of estate, appoints the Erle of Lauderdaill and Southesk, the Lairds of Wauchtone and Auldbar, the provest of Glasgow, and Maistir Robert Barclay to peruse the said supplicatioune and the haill rightis and grounds quhairupon the same proceids, and report the same the morne.

Anent the supplicatione presented by Patrik Bell, in name of the brugh of Glasgow, craving that the estate of the church of Glasgow may be represented to his majestie by the lord commissioneris, the same is recommendit to the commissioneris general to be represented to his majestie, bot no act of parliament to pass heirupon.

Anent the article presented by the assemblie and supplicatioune by Maistir George Sommer, craving the personage of Meggle to be dissolved from the bishoprik of Dunkell etc., the lord commissioneris general and lords of articles refers the samyne to the commissione to be graunted for augmentatione of ministers stipends and plantatione of kirkis etc.

Act anent the erectione of the kirk of Anstruther Eister into ane paroche kirk red, voited and past in articles.

The act upon the reference from the assemblie, desyring the kirk of Carsfernie to be erected into ane paroch kirk and dismembred from Dalry, the lord commissioneris general and lords of the articles refers the same to the commissione to be granted for augmentatione of ministers stipends and plantatione of kirkis.

The act upon the reference from the assemblie desyring the lands of Glenlyoune to be dismembrit from the church of Fartrahill and erected into ane severall paroch kirk, the lord commissioneris general and lords of articles refers the same to the commissione to be graunted for augmentatione of ministers stipends and plantatione of kirkis.

Anent the supplicatioune presented against the Marquis of Huntlie and the Highlandmen, appointis the supplicants to condiscend upon the tyme of the factis thairin mentiouned, that the same may be done sence the pacificatione, other wayis the lord commissioneris general refuisis to acknawledge the said supplicatione or give answer thairto.

Supplicatione frome the assemblie craving the kirk of Ferne to be erected into ane paroch kirk, referred by the lordis commissioneris grace and lords of articles to the commissioune to be grauntit for plantatione of kirkis.

Supplicatione presented by the minister of Auchtertuill craving augmentatione of his stipend, referred by the commissioneris general and lords of articles to the commissioune to be graunted for augmentatione of ministers stipends.

Act discharging the bleitching of linning cloth with lyme, and commanding all linning cloth at ten s. the elne to be elne broad, and all linning under that pryce to be three quarters elne broad, red, voited and past in articles to begin at Whitsonday nixt.

The article craving ane act to be maid conforme to prior actis of parliament prohibiting freemen of the borrowis to be partners with unfriemen and unfrie strangers, redelyverit to Jhone Smith that he may be advysed and condiscend upon the particular actis quhilk he craves to be ratified by the said articles; and appointis him to adverteish two barones for the north, two baronis for the west and two baronis for the mid schyris, that they may be acquainted with the said article and advysed thairwith.
