Oure soverane lord, for himselff and as father, tuitor, guider and lawfull administrator to his hienes darrest sone, Charles, prince of Great Britane, France and Ireland, with advyse and consent of his majesties thrie estates of parliament, ordaines ane act of parliament to be maid in favours of his majesties loving servitor James Livingstoun of Beill, ane of the groomes of his majesties bedchamber, his airs and assignais quhatsumever, ratifiand, approvand and, for his hienes and his successors, perpetuallie confirmand, lykas his majestie, be the tennor heirof, for himselff and as father, tuitor, guydar and lawfull administrator to his hienes said darrest sone, with advyse and consent forsaid, ratifies, approves and, for his hienes and his successors, perpetuallie confirmes the chartor and infeftment grantit wnder his majesties great seale be his hienes, for himselff and as father, tuitor, guyder and lawfull administrator for his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, to the said James Livingstoun, his airs and assignais quhatsumever, of the lands and baronie of Beill, comprehending the lands, baronies, kirks, patronages and uthers mentionat in the said infeftment, with the maner places, mylnes, multors and uthers mentionat thairin, proceiding upon the resignatione of the said James Livingstoun and of George Lawder of Bass and Issobell Hepburne, lady Bass, his mother, conteining also ane gift de novo damus, with ane unione of the saidis haill lands and uthers forsaidis in ane haill and frie baronie; quhilk chartor and infeftment is of the dait at Quhythall, the last day of Januar, the yeir of God jM vjC threttie tua yeirs, togider with the precept wnder the quarter seale of the dait of the said chartor, with the instrument of sasing following thairupon and instrument of resignatione quhaireupon the samyne proceidit in the haill pointes, heads, articles, clauses and circumstances thairof. And his majestie, with advyse and consent forsaid, wills and grants and, for his hienes and his successors, kings, princes and stewarts of Scotland, decernes and ordaines this present confirmatioun to be of als great availl, force, strenth and effect to the said James Livingstoun and his forsaidis as if the forsaid chartor, infeftment, precept and instrument of sasing and instrument of resignatione quhairupon the samyne proceidit wer word be word insert heirintill, anent the quhilks, and with all defects and inconvenients that may follow thairupon, his majestie, for himself and as father, tutor, guyder and lawfull administrator to his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, with advyse and consent forsaid of his hienes thrie estates of parliament, hes dispensit and be thir presents dispenses for ever. And farder his majestie, for himself and as father, tuitor, guyder and lawfull administrator to his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, with advyse and consent forsaid of his majesties thrie estates of parliament, hes dissolved and, be the tennor heirof, dissolves fra his hienes crowne and patrimonie thairof and frome the principalitie of this kingdome all and sundrie the forsaidis few lands and uthers abonementionat, disponit to be haldin in few and contenit in the forsaid infeftment and uthers richts of the saidis lands and uthers abonespecifiet, to the effect that eftir dissolutione thairof as said is, the samyn may be of new disponit to the said James Livingstoun and his forsaidis to be haldin in few for payment of the few dewties contenit in the old infeftments and secuirities thairof. And his majestie, with advyse and consent forsaid of his hienes thrie estates of parliament, ordaines thir presents to be ane sufficient warrand to the clerk of register for inserting of the forsaid act of ratificatioun and dissolutione, and for extending the samyne in dew forme with the rest of the acts of parliament to be maid, past and sett downe in this nixt parliament to be haldine within the said kingdome of Scotland.
