Oure soverane lord, with advyse of the estates of this present parliament, hes ratifiet and approvine and, be thir presents, ratifies and approves the gift and mortificatioun maid be his majesties umquhile darrest father, King James of most worthie memorie, wnder his great seale, off the abbacie of Dundrennane, with all lands, baronies, mylnes, wodes, fischings, kirks, teinds, fruits and rents perteining thairto, alsweill temporalitie as spiritualitie thairof, to the deanrie of his majesties chapell royall of Stirling in maner specifiet and sett downe in the said gift of mortificatioun, as the samyne of the dait at Theobalds, the saxteine day of July, the yeir of God jM vjC tuentie ane yeirs at mair lenth proports, thaireftir ratifiet in parliament haldin at Edinburgh, the fourt day of August, the yeir of God jM vjC tuentie ane yeirs. And als hes ratifiet and approvin and, be thir presents, ratifies and approves the act of parliament maid lykwayes be his majesties said umquhile darrest father, with advyse of his estates, annexand to the bischoprick of Dumblane and patrimonie thairof all and haill the abacie of Crocereguall, as lykwayes the pryorie of Monymusk, alsweill temporalitie as spiritualitie of the samyne benefices, with all lands, kirks, teinds, teindscheaves, fischings, annuelrents, proffeitts, commodities and uthers casualities quhatsumever alsweill not exprest as exprest perteining or belonging or quhilk any tyme bygane pertenit or belongit to the said abbacie or pryorie or any of thame in any maner of way, in maner lykwayes sett downe in the said act of parliament, as the samyne act of parliament of the dait the tuentie aucht day of Junii, the yeir of God jM vjC sevinteine yeirs, siclyk at mair lenth proports in the haill heads, articles, clausis, conditiones and circumstances quhatsumever specifiet and contenit in the said mortificatioun and ratificatioun thairof in parliament and act of parliament respective abonewrittine maid anent the unioun and annexatioun of the said abbacie of Dundrennane to the said chappell royall, and of the said abbacie of Crocereguall and pryorie of Monymusk to the said bischoprick of Dumblane as is abonerehearsit, with all that hes followit or may follow thairupon. And his majestie and estates forsaidis, be thir presents, declairs, decernes and ordaines that this present ratificatioun and generalitie thairof sall be als valide, effectuall and sufficient as if the said mortificatioun and acts of parliament respective abonewrittine wer at lenth word be word insert heirine, anent the quhilk and generalitie thairof and all uther objectiones or imperfectiones quhilk may be opponit or alledgit againes the samyne, his majestie and estates forsaidis hes dispensit and dispenses be thir presents. And farder his majestie and estates forsaidis be thir presents declairs the unioun and mortificatioun of the said abbacie of Dundrennane to the said chappell royall and the unioun and annexatioun of the said abbacie of Crocereguall and pryorie of Monymusk to the said bischoprick of Dumblane to be nawayes of the natur and qualitie of such thinges quhilks ar contenit in his majesties revocatioun, and that the samyne benefices sua unitt and annexit as said is, spiritualitie nor temporalitie thairof, nor gifts of mortificatioun and unioun and annexatioun of the same, falles nawayes within the compas of any of his majesties revocationes, nor within the act maid in this present parliament anent his majesties revocatioun, nor yitt within the actes lykwayes maid in this present parliament anent the superiorities of kirklands. Lykas his majestie and estats forsaidis, in sa far as it may appear that the samyne may fall within the compas of his majesties revocationes and actes of parliament maid thairanent and anent the superiorities of the saidis kirklands, hes exceptit and be thir presents excepts the samyne furth thairof.
