Act in favours of the Earle of Annandaill

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the thrie estates of this present parliament, be thir presents ratifies and approves ane chartor maid and grantit be his hienes wnder the great seale of the dait at Otlands, the thretteine day of July jM vjC tuentie fyve yeirs, to and in favours of Johne, earle of Annandaill etc., his airs maill and of tailyie thairin specifiet of the earledome, lordschip and baronie of Annandaill, comprehending all and sundrie the lands, baronies, offices, teinds, patronages and uthers particularlie and generallie mentionat in the said chartor, togider also with the precept and instrument of seasing following thairupon in all and sundrie pointes, articles and clauses thairin contenit eftir the formes and tennors thairof, and declairs, statuits and ordaines this present ratificatioun thairof to be als sufficient, valide and lawfull in all respects as if the said chartor, precept and instrument of sasing following thairupon wer at lenth, and word be word, insert and ingrost heirintill, dispensing heirby with the not inserting thairof. And lykwayes his majestie, with advyse and consent forsaid, be thir presents dissolves the haill lands and uthers specifiet in the said chartor quhilks ar of his majesties propertie fra his majesties crowne and patrimonie thairof, to the effect that the samyne may be of new disponit to the said Earle of Annandaill and his forsaidis to be haldin of his majestie and his successors for payment of the few dewties contenit in the said chartor. And lykwayes his majestie, with consent forsaid, findes, declairs, statuits and ordaines that the said chartor and the precept and instrument of sasing following thairupon and this present ratificatioun thairof ar, and sall be, sufficient and valeid lawfull richts and secuirities to the said Earle of Annandaill and his abonespecifiet for the peacible bruiking and joysing in all tyme coming of the said earledome, lordschip and baronie of Annandaill, comprehending the haill lands, baronies, offices, teinds, patronages and uthers particularlie and generallie mentionat in the said chartor, ordaining thir presents to be ane sufficient warrand to the clerk of register and his deputtes for extending of ane act of parliament heirupon in dew forme.
