Anent the petitioun preferred to his majestie be Williame Ramsay and remitted be his majestie to the lords of his majesteis privie counsell, and by thame referred to the consideratioun of the estaits tuicheing the impost craved be the said Williame Ramsay to be imposed upon everie tun of goods exported or imported in strangers boddoms, the estaits finds the said petitioun to be most unreasounable and refuises the desire thairof as ane purpose not fitting to be granted nor allowed.
