The complaint against Ensign Seaton being called he was brought to the bar and the names of the witnesses adduced for proving the grounds of the complaint, with the interrogators whereupon they were to be examined and read in his hearing, after which the witnesses were called and then testified; and the complaint being found not proven by their testimonies, the ensign was absolved.
The lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until tomorrow at 10 o'clock.
