Moved that the remaining controverted elections be determined or a day appointed for that end, and the next day the parliament shall sit appointed to consider the same accordingly.

Resolved that the committee for inspecting the public accounts be named immediately after discussing the elections.

Moved that the petition given in by [John Kerr], laird of Morriston might be read, and thereupon ordered that Sir James Cockburn [of that ilk] be cited by getting a full copy of the petition with the report to which it refers, to compear and be ready to answer at the first sitting of parliament next week.
