Procedure: various acts read, voted, amended and printed

The draft of an act defining what crimes are bailable given in and read, and ordered to lie on the table.

The act for securing the Protestant religion and presbyterian government being again read, the first part of it for security of the Protestant religion was unanimously acquiesced in without a vote, and the last part anent presbyterian government being considered there was an exception added of the allowance given to ministers qualified in the terms of the 27th act of the fifth session of King William's parliament, and then the whole act put to the vote and approved.

The act for the toleration being again read, it was moved that her majesty's letter to the privy council anent the preachers of the episcopal persuasion might be laid before the parliament, and the said letter, being accordingly brought in and read, was immediately returned to the clerk of the privy council.

The act for security of the kingdom read again and ordered to be marked a first reading, but not to pass until it be twice read and considered.

The act for ratifying the act of parliament 1689 turning the meeting of the estates into a parliament read and ordered to be marked a first reading. Then the several acts anent the conferring of offices, the making of peace and war, and the importation of wines etc. were read, and these three acts ordered to be printed.

The lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Monday next at 10 o'clock.
