Petitions: read and voted upon

Petition by Sir George Home of Kello and partners, relateing to the sist of execution granted by deliverance upon a petition in favors of the earl of Crauford, read, and the vote asked, adhere to the said deliverance, yea or no, carried adhere, as is fully contained in the earl's act dated and recorded the sixth instant.

The petition by the heretors of the shires of Innerness and Ross, with the answers for Duncan Forbes of Culloden, read, relateing to an act of parliament obtained by the said Duncan in the year jM vjC and ninety taxing the yearly excise of aquavitae brown in his lands of Ferintosh to four hundreth merks yearly; and, after debate, the vote being stated, rescind the act in so far as concerns the excise or no, carried in the negative, but the effect of the act was restricted of consent to the grouth of the said lands allennarly in manner at length following:
